If your car or van sports a wide-panel dashboard, Kenwood's DDX919WS is quite literally the perfect fit.

The 200mm head unit gives you an instant upgrade to the latest Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. With dual-Bluetooth connection and a host of in-built features, you can enjoy the best in music, video, and driver navigation. With your smartphone, you can even take advantage of the latest voice-recognition technology.

Fronted by a stunning 6.8-inch HD capacitive touch screen, you pair your smartphone via Bluetooth or USB. Use simple voice commands to navigate with maps, play your favourite music, make and receive calls -- even send and receive text messages.

This head unit also features a CD/DVD receiver, Wi-Fi mirroring, dual Bluetooth pairing, and Spotify control. You even get Kenwood's own in-built GPS navigation system.

Triple camera inputs give you a choice of camera options -- including an optional Kenwood DRV-520 Dash Cam. Perfect if you're a tradie, courier, taxi, Uber, or truck driver -- the DRV-520 dash cam automatically records all your driving activity. An in-built 'G sensor' will detect any front-end collisions, and save the footage for you.

This model replaces the DDX918WS.

Apple CarPlay - Wireless

One of Kenwood's most anticipated features is the inclusion of wireless Apple CarPlay. Via Bluetooth, you can now enjoy the most popular iPhone features on your touch screen. Make and receive calls, use Apple maps, send text messages, or listen to iTunes. There's even support for third-party apps such as Spotify and WhatsApp.

And best of all? You can do all of this hands-free. Just tell Siri which app you want to use and enjoy easy, distraction-free driving.

Android Auto - Via USB

If you're an Android user, this head unit unlocks the best features of your smartphone -- and brings them to life in your car. Simply connect via USB and let Android Auto become your new co-driver. Use Google Assistant to navigate with Google Maps, listen to Spotify, make and receive calls -- even update your Google calendar.

Thanks to Google's speech recognition, you can use all your favourite Android features just by asking.

Wi-Fi Mirroring

The easy way to display your Apple or Android smartphone on your head unit is with Wi-Fi mirroring. Perfect for videos, photos, and maps -- your smartphone is displayed directly on the 6.8-inch screen. With selected Android phones, you can even enable touch screen access for easier two-way communication.

Kenwood's optional dash cam is perfect if you spend a lot of time on the road. It can record all of your driving activity, and automatically save footage of any front-on accidents. It can also alert you to impending front collisions, or warn you if you're drifting out of your lane.
